A gentle plea for anyone who can help

Two days ago a fantastic friend of mine caught a bad thermal while paraponting in Chamonix, France, and returned into the mountainside only to tumble to the base of the mountain into the treeline. His resulting injuries are severe - shattered pelvis, multiple broken vertebrae, two collapsed lungs, broken femur, fractured skull, and a bleed on the brain. He is in a hospital in Anasee in an induced coma, and with such a long road ahead his medical expenses are way over what they can actually afford.

I understand we all have our fish to fry, cars to fix, houses to maintain, and I apologise if this is not de rigueur for Oppo, but this is so fucking close to my heart I can’t even bare it.

If you could give anything, however little, his wife and young family, myself, would be eternally grateful.

I wish him well in his recovery. He has a lot there to keep him motivated.
